I just spent 2 hours on the phone with the IRS and THEY don't know how I am supposed to file our income taxes...they will get back with me.
Is anyone else having this problem, since the missing can not sign their return?

Our problem is not IRS but Social Security. Since Joe is not officially dead, we can't get his kids their Social Security benefits. With more U.S. citizens traveling to the Third World, this problem is going to become more common and will need to be dealt with. This is just the beginning.
