What is your interest in the Missing Americans Project?
I am a news reporter for the Fox station in Houston, Tx. My friend Robert Tamez was kidnapped in Ciudad Mier on April 14, 2011. I can't believe how difficult it is to get answers from lawmakers and law enforcement.

Welcome to MAP. My husband, Ron Scheepstra went missing Apr 11, 2009 in Xcalak, MX.
He was on a fly fishing vacation with friends and vanished without a trace. I fought to get a federal level investigation, which I was informed that it was being done. I have requested a report of the investigation numerous times and do not even get a response. The Mexican government is impossible to deal with. I am so sorry about your friend. If I can help in any way, please let me know....Cindy Scheepstra
Kristine: Thanks so much for joining the project. I absolutely empathize and want to help, as I'm sure everyone in our community would like to. I just left you a voicemail, so please give me a call at your earliest convenience.
