- I am a news reporter for the Fox station in Houston, Tx. My friend Robert Tamez was kidnapped in Ciudad Mier on April 14, 2011. I can't believe how difficult it is to get answers from lawmakers and law enforcement.

Hi Kristine:
Welcome to MAP. My husband, Ron Scheepstra went missing Apr 11, 2009 in Xcalak, MX.
He was on a fly fishing vacation with friends and vanished without a trace. I fought to get a federal level investigation, which I was informed that it was being done. I have requested a report of the investigation numerous times and do not even get a response. The Mexican government is impossible to deal with. I am so sorry about your friend.
