What we know..

Owns aquarium/pet store in Matamoros, MX, and disappeared during the battles between the Mexican military and the Gulf Cartels and Zetas in that city, beginning on Nov.5, 2010. US Consulate has only ascertained that he is not in any hospital in that city or surrounding cities, and nothing more. They say they are not able to do any searching themselves but must rely on the Mexican authorities.

Farrah did a wonderful 2-year missing follow-up with John's mother tonight...  I don't know how long it will stay on this page but look for Few Answers 2 Years after Man Disappears in Matamoros http://www.krgv.com/video-center/#

There were two excellent pieces in today's "The Monitor"... background and a succinct history of what is going on...

Spring Break is coming... If you have loved ones coming to South Texas, they are safe in Texas and on Texas beaches, but make sure they don't cross the border for ANY reason!!! Please share these stories across the country... Right now, only the border states are feeling the immediate results... But the cartels are moving their families to Texas cities for safety, and who knows how long our Border Patrol and police agencies will be able to stop the cross-border violence. There have already been a couple of incidences...
