Mexico Missing: Link to Organ Trafficking

This article is the first I've seen to allude to what I've suspected for some time about these disappearances in Central America and the Caribbean. Please read it.

An excerpt:

"A confidential source told US and Mexican authorities that he saw women's bodies lying on the floor. He also was present when dead men were hauled inside the building by a group of hit-men.

The source said: "I asked one of the men in charge at the place about the women's bodies.

"I knew about women in Juarez disappearing. Everyone knew that about Juarez. This had to be one of the main ways in which they vanish.

"The bodies I saw were of young-looking women. They told me they were trying to break into the organ-trafficking business and that it was simply another way to make money.

"He said they wanted to sell organs from the men's bodies as well. He said all this very matter of factly.

We need to find experts who can help us explore this avenue.

Thanks, Norma. We've got so many "Davids" "Michaels" and "Jeffs" floating around in this effort, it's hard to keep track.

Jeff - After I started following the disappearance of Michael Dixon, my family and I suspected organ harvesting might be involved. I have included the e-mail I sent to Mr. Dixon and I have a blog on help find Michael Dixon's page about this same thing. Mr. Dixon was very interested in the blog and sent me an e-mail requesting the name of the movie. I haven't heard any more from him as far as investigaging that aspect of his brother's disappearance. Wish something could be done as to set up a decoy and maybe capture these people.

Hello David,
The movie that my son was referring to is called "Turistas." The movie is fictional but after watching it, you realize it could happen. (You can goggle it and see parts of it or how to locate the movie). I have attached a link to a Newsweek article that shows it is not as outlandish as you may think. Our family, my huband, son, daughter (who is a nurse) and I have kind of brainstormed about these disappearances and my daughter says that it happens more than you would know especially in a poor country where an organ or body parts could bring lots of money. Makes you wonder if even some of the authoriities could be in on it. It seems that someone is targeting tourists that are by themselves and it wouldn't take much to sit in a hotel lobby and watch people come and go and target them as traveling by themselves or an airport for that matter.
I hope this helps. I know it's very sad to think, but people just don't just disappear without someone knowing or seeing something, especially this many people in the same area. If we may be of any other help please don't hesitate to contact us.
Keeping you in our thoughts.

Organ trafficking was long considered a myth. But now mounting evidence suggests it is a real and growing problem, even in America.

Cindy, here's the thing...the challenge - in the absence of knowledge we can connect dots that don't go together. I've thought about this many times about my brother - esp., since we have pretty good evidence he may have been in a hospital within days of his disappearance. We all need more info. But we can't yet draw conclusions.

This makes chills go down my spine...Ron was taken some where for a reason. I wonder if this could be what happened.
