The passport belonging to Cody Roman Dial, a 27-year-old Alaska man who went missing in Costa Rica nearly two years ago, was found amongst human remains discovered in the Corcovado National Park on Friday, authorities in Costa Rica announced shortly before noon on Monday. Dial has been missing since July 22, 2014. The discovery of the remains came just two days before National Geographic was set to air a documentary about the young man’s disappearance.

A body discovered on a beach just outside Costa Rica’s Santa Rosa National Park in Guanacaste is believed to be a German tourist who had been missing since entering the park with friends on Monday, according to the Ministry of Public Security (MSP).

More than a year ago, a Brownsville, Texas, mother’s sons went missing in Matamoros, Mexico.
Ernesto and Jesus Garcia crossed the Gateway International Bridge to visit their grandmother. Maria Garcia said that was the last time she saw her boys.
Garcia can recall the desperate call from one of her sons. “He called me on Sunday in the morning. He told me to pray for him, but I don’t know in what situation he was in over there,” she said.

On November 14th, 2015, U.S. citizen Jill Brown disappeared from outside her ranch in Cuicocha Ecuador. Apparently she was waiting for transportation at the time of her disappearance. Her approximate age is early 60's, and is 5'8 - 5'9. She is listed as African American and or possibly Cherokee. .

A man accused of murdering American pilgrim Denise Thiem is thought to have lured the woman to his farm and ultimately her death by painting fake signs to misdirect those walking along the Camino de Santiago trail in Northern Spain.

A junior at UNC Pembroke has been missing in Costa Rica since Tuesday, the University said. Deon D. Greene is studying abroad at The National University of Costa Rica in Heredia, Costa Rica. Heredia is just north of the Costa Rican capital San Jose. The University said it was contacted Sept. 7 regarding Greene’s disappearance. Greene went into the ocean and did not resurface.

Everything Joshua Devine's family has heard so far about his weekend disappearance from a dive boat in Thailand just seems wrong. Actions reported that night don't fit with the 36-year-old ex Army sergeant they know, and they question why the boat never stopped when he was reported missing. They are wondering if anyone searched for him at all.

A search is on in Spain for Denise Thiem, a Litchfield Park woman who is missing and hasn't been heard from in almost a month.
