Sad Update to Disappearance of American Woman Last Seen on Spain's Camino de Santiago

A man accused of murdering American pilgrim Denise Thiem is thought to have lured the woman to his farm and ultimately her death by painting fake signs to misdirect those walking along the Camino de Santiago trail in Northern Spain.

Miguel Angel Muñoz Blas, a 39-year-old man was remanded into custody by a judge on Monday, and accused of the murder of 41-year-old Ms. Thiem from Arizona. Police beleive Muñoz used tactics that included the painting of arrows to divert walkers off the pilgrimage route toward his remote farm.
