I am so very sorry....I have over 2 yrs experience in dealing with the US Embassy.
It is really difficult to get any help from them. My husband has been missing since April 09.
The Mexican police will not even release a report of their investigation, if one was actually done. All you can do is put pressure on your Congressman and Senator and try to get as much publicity as possible. My prayers are with you.
HEY CARMEN WANTE DTO SEE HOW YOUR INVESTIGATION IS GOING .WHAT HAVE YOU DONE SO FAR?MY FATHER IS MISSING SINCE NOVEMBER 2010 AND STILL NO ANSWERS.
