    My sister made it back safe. They are just waiting to speak to the reporter, we have to wait for her to give all the details but from what she told me it seems like they r going to do some investigating.. Thanks sister for being the strongest n loudest one of all n to everyone that has advised her thank you too that has helped a lot.

    More and more in my mind, this is not about Arturo or John or Joe or Ron - or any or all of our missing Americans. This is about a U.S. policy position that clearly expresses to the bad guys world wide: U.S. citizens below a certain social or economic level of influence are fair game. Every single case the State Department ignores paints a target on all our backs the moment we step outside our borders. THIS is the story - not our individual or even collective grief and frustration. Our government cares more about the self-esteem of Third World narco-states with whom it wants to do business than the well being of its own citizens or the citizens of those countries. This is what the media and our so-called leaders must be made to understand.

    called mexico this week and found out investigator that i never talked to is no longer handleing my dads case.I spoke to the new one and said he couldnt find my dads file,told me to call 20 minutes later ,i gave him more time and called back in a hour and no one picked up.it just goes round and round and round.seems like we are never gonna get anywhere.

    I'm so sorry... but that seems to be the way they do business over there.... Our people don't count because we aren't rich enough or famous enough or have the "wrath of our government" behind us... Same thing is being voiced by David Hartley's widow, and Nancy Davis' widower, and the parents of the young college student from Brownsville who was gunned down on a bus, going to visit relatives across the border. So sad... so very sad.....

    They have changed the investigator handling my dads case.I hate that ,I feel like if something is going to get missed,since new guy has no clue about this case ,hes just gonna read notes,arggggg i hate this

    Oh, this sounds so familiar guys.

    Ron's investigator (if there really was one) was changed also.

    We have requested the report from this investigation by the PGR (their equivalent of the FBI) numerous times. They don't even acknowledge the requests.

    I don't even know if there really was an investigation into Ron;'s disappearance.

    I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. It is agonizing and frustrating.
