Natalee Holloway's Mom Starts Missing-Persons Resource Center

Beth Holloway has created the Natalee Holloway Resource Center, named for her daughter who went missing during a high school graduation trip to Aruba, according to this Associated Press article. The center will be based at the National Museum of Crime & Punishment in downtown Washington. The nonprofit center aims to provide families with an action plan, examples of missing person posters, contacts, media liaisons and other services to guide families during crises. Officials also say they will provide educational programs on safe traveling and crime prevention and encourage careers in forensic science and law enforcement.

On May 23, We were called by the American embassy in Belgrade, Serbia to inform us that my son committed suicide on May 17, that he jumped into the Danube River.  At first the embassy was helpful.  On June 16 the embassy told me that the police were acting squirrly about the case and he felt there was more to this.  He had to put in a formal request to meet with the investigators to find out what was going on.  On June 28 the embassy called me and acted totally different and told me that it was a suicide and that they couldn't represent me or my son.  I heard from my son on May 14 and 15, when I asked the embassy where he was on May 16 they changed his date of death to May 16.  The embassy suggested I get a Serbian attorney and offered to send me a list, Why would I need an attorney?  I had to do a DNA test to compare to my son and they told me I was a match.  They won't release the DNA results, investigation report, the clothes he was found in until the autopsy is done!  This has been over two months, they did an autopsy on May 23 or 24.  I asked for a lock of my son's hair and a picture of his feet, just so I would know, I was told that my son didn't have any hair left and that his feet didn't resemble feet.  The embassy told me he didn't look like a human, but their newspaper reported his age and other information.  I have had 2-2line messages from the embassy since they met with the police on June 28.  I've researched people who were found in water and it says that the cold water slows down decomposition and they still have their hair.  I am lost, I'm afraid they have him locked up somewhere.  I keep trying to get answers but it's not happening!  Some one used 2 of my son's cards from the time he was missing until they couldn't get anymore money, but the police had an excuse for that!  I finally got maybe 1/4 of his belongings last week.  He was supposed to have gone missing on May 16 now, and the guy who reported him missing just happened to be at the police station to report him missing at the time he was found on May 21.  I am not even sure if this is my son!  Please help me if you can!
