Though this letter to the Tico Times describing a reader's negative experience with the Canadian embassy in Costa Rica is not about a missing person, it illustrates the experience of so many families in the Missing Americans Project Community:"I am saddened to see the lack of interest and compassion at my own embassy abroad. I have struggled with this situation for some time without answers and am now determined to raise an awareness of my situation."
