My father Rene Rendon and business owner of Farmacia del Centro was abducted from his home in Nueva Rosita Coahuila Mexico. He is an American Citizen. He has been missing since 06-25-14. He house was robbed and items stolen including his 2012 Toyota Tundra and 2011 Buick Lucerne. The vehicles have been located at a body shop about to be dismantled and a safe weighing about 250 kilos was found this past weekend. We have contact the local FBI and US Embassy in Mexico and the local police in Mexico. Any information leading to the location of my dad is welcomed. He is 69 years old and within the last year has had a double knee replacement. He has a rooster foot tattoo on his upper right shoulder and a scar on his stomach from a gallstone surgery. There have been several news paper articles in El Factor http://elfactor.com/noticias/?s=Rene+Rendon and Zocalo zoczlo.com.mx.
To help figure out what to do and find answers. Any suggestions on who to contact and what to do is greatly appreciated.

I used to be part of GEO group in Federal Police (Special Operations Group) now I have my own corporation and we have a special unit for missing persons cases investigation. We have close cooperation with Federal and local police departments and some NGO's. How long has your father been missing? And what was his last known location?
Welcome to MAP... I'm sorry to hear your loved one is missing in Mexico, so many of MAP's members are searching the same area and perhaps we can help each other...
Your missing loved one needs to be reported missing to your local police department, and the FBI office closest to where they crossed into Mexico. You also need to find the closest US consulate office and report them missing there. Here is a list of US Consulate offices in Mexico http://mexico.usembassy.gov/eng/edirectory.html
Also, post as much information here as you can about your loved one, pix, stats, possible travel and interests....
Good luck and let everyone know how it goes so we can help!
