Hey Jeff. Thanks for your comment. I am most delighted to become a member. I stand ready, willing and able to promote the cause and I pledge to spear no effort in enhancing the process. Rest assure that you have my full support. I am currently on a course in the USA and therefore will be out of Belize for the rest of this year. However, I do have sufficient influence on the Belize Defence Force and the Belize Coast Guard to cause them to act; regardless of where I am in the world.

I look forward to your guidance on ways you think I might be able to enhance the cause.

regards,

Raymond

Hello Jeff - a St. John's alum, it's a small world. I ran across the story of your brother as I'm planning a month long trip to Roatan and came across the story on a Scuba board. After more searching it ultimately led me to this site. I travel quite a bit so of course the subject of missing Americans in foreign countries is something to be aware of. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and the many others who are faced with this.

I will give you a call this week. Meantime, you may want to reach out to Cindy Scheepstra. Her husband, Ron, was lost in Mexico this past April.

Thank you so much for getting back to me so quick. You are more than welcome to call me anytime, would love to talk to you. I have an old school buddy that is possibly going to be doing some research for me. I finally feel that I might be getting some where this time around. Look forward to hearing from you.

This is a good place for me to focus. My obsessive energies for this need a positive enviroment to be in. I pray Kyle is still alive, but I may never know. My heart goes out to anyone who has a missing loved one, dealing with another country, especially Mexico is so frustrating.

Thank you for your comments. All of these disappearances have opened our eyes when we travel. IWe just travelled to the Caribbean last summer and since we have found this site and the other sites about the missing tourists, we realize now how dumb we were. Several of us went in different directions, my husband, son, daughter and son-in-law went scuba diving and I toured St. Thomas (by myself). Our son (who is 18) stayed around us but we let him go ahead of us into shops and behind us and would meet him. Needless to say, we will go in a group the next time!!! I will write to the Embassy about this and will send you a copy of the letter. I can't imagine our government will not help people in this situation. I also viewed the Honduras video and thought the reporter was pretty brave to be there by herself and it didn't look like or sound like a place we would want to visit,

Sure Jeff, I'm a reporter for the Columbia Daily Tribune in Columbia, Mo. I was just sent an email notifiying me that Leo Finley of Columbia has been missing at sea off the coast of Honduras since Christmas Day. I'm working to write a news story about this tragic event and gather information about the disappearance which brought me to your site.
Any additional info you have would be greatly appreciated.

best

Hi Jeff

No, I hadn't heard anything about Michael or Alex - which means they're getting absolutely no news coverage over here at all. I'll certainly look into it as the lack of public awareness with these situations is shocking. We'll be thinking of you all over Thanksgiving.

Thinking of you and your family on this 1st Thanksgiving without Joe. God give all us who have lost loved ones strength to get through the Holidays that are so full of past memories.
Blessings
