Welcome to MAP.. I'm sorry your son has gone missing.. Costa Rica is not the haven/heaven their tourist board wants everyone to think it is... You can get your son onto the list here if you want to start a page for him.. or just add his name, pictures and details to your page. You don't say when he went missing... but his details should be reported to the FBI and the American Consulate closest to where he went missing... also, we were told to report it to the local police department in his hometown in the US...
There is also a group here for Persons Missing in Costa Rica... if you leave them a message, they may have more information for you... Message Jeff Dunsavage, he started this group and has many connections that might help.
