What we know..

Owns aquarium/pet store in Matamoros, MX, and disappeared during the battles between the Mexican military and the Gulf Cartels and Zetas in that city, beginning on Nov.5, 2010. US Consulate has only ascertained that he is not in any hospital in that city or surrounding cities, and nothing more. They say they are not able to do any searching themselves but must rely on the Mexican authorities.

Apparently, the Texas DPS didn't get the whole picture in their recent warnings about missing Americans in Mexico... They cite the four missing San Marcos men and a 14-year-old boy, along with two fatalities....

Maybe we need to wave a flag at them also!!! Or did our guys just drop off the "looking for" list?????

You'd think these agencies would TALK to each other and share information. At last count, the DPS can't do anything about Mexico but to have our guys ignored is horrible!!

So sad, the death of missionary Nancy Davis... 38 years of medical attention given to the poor and needy of Mexico... she was shot and killed today while traveling in Mexico, doing what she has been doing all these years.. Her husband drove to the Reynosa-Hidalgo bridge but she died before reaching medical attention. Keep her family in your prayers...

Talked to Consulates again today and was told the police dept. will not call us or give me a number of anyone who speaks english in the dept. So the consulate is gonna try and get answers to the questions that I have and as usual get back with me on this when they get a answer.

I don't call either one. Although Debbie has told both of them that I am to be notified, talked to, etc., they prefer to talk to her since she is next of kin and I am "only the business partner". Debbie usually calls the consulate, and she tries the police department on a regular basis also, but her contact there seems to be always out. Since neither of us speak enough Spanish, Debbie has to rely on the English-speakers at the police department and they don't seem to have very many. So it becomes very frustrating!!

Nothing... still nothing... nobody knows anything... nobody can find anything... nobody answers emails.... unless you are rich and famous or "somebody special", it seems you are invisible to The Powers That Be!!  Maybe John or Arturo needed to not pay their income taxes.. the IRS seems to be able to find everyone!!!

Hutchison has been a senator since 1993.  However, she held various other state political offices starting in 1972.  She just announced a couple days ago that she won't run for reelection.  There is already a crowded field of interested politicians.
