More Details on the Latest Ex-Pat Murder on Roatan, Honduras

The body of Nedenia Post Dye, great granddaughter of Majorie Merriweather Post, was found in her room on Dec. 22 at her luxury spa resort on the Caribbean island of Roatan, Honduras, police said Friday. A local musician whom Dye was helping quit drugs has been arrested.

MAP Editor's Note: Here's hoping the celebrity status of this victim will lead to something resembling speedy justice and closure for her family. Here's also hoping that the murder of a prestigious and wealthy U.S. citizen will lead to greater media and government scrutiny into how such cases are handled when ordinary ex-pats and tourists disappear or are murdered or scammed in Roatan and in other Third World "pieces of paradise".
