Prominent businessman Mitch Garber has joined those helping to search for missing a Montrealer who’s been missing in Peru since late September. In a Facebook post, Garber said he’s donated $100,000 to help fund the continued search for 22-year-old Jesse Galganov. Galganov was last seen on Sept. 28, checking out of a hostel in the Peruvian town of Huaraz.

Twin sisters were killed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, while walking on the beach. Barbara Jo (Sova) Thomas of McKinney, TX and Beverly Ann (Sova) Skripsky of Scottsdale, AZ, both 67, were hit by a rogue wave that carried them out to sea. They both drowned.

A Canadian woman who is searching for her missing son in Peru says Amazon and Apple have released information requested by Peruvian police trying to find the 22-year-old.

Michael Eather went tubing with a friend in the early hours of Monday, January 23. Their tube capsized in fast-flowing rapids on the Rio Cahabon and the two were swept apart.
While his friend was found the following day wandering around confused in the jungle, no-one has seen the 23-year-old since.

24-year-old medical student, Seth Alexander Thomas from the United States, was found deceased on June 25, 2017, in the Cusco Department of Peru. Seth had begun a hike Friday afternoon on June 23, 2017, to Cerro Picol, San Jerónimo, in Cusco at about two in the afternoon.
