Sad Update to Disappearance of American Woman Last Seen on Spain's Camino de Santiago

A man accused of murdering American pilgrim Denise Thiem is thought to have lured the woman to his farm and ultimately her death by painting fake signs to misdirect those walking along the Camino de Santiago trail in Northern Spain.

Miguel Angel Muñoz Blas, a 39-year-old man was remanded into custody by a judge on Monday, and accused of the murder of 41-year-old Ms. Thiem from Arizona. Police beleive Muñoz…

North Carolina Student Missing in Another Costa Rica Riptide Incident

A junior at UNC Pembroke has been missing in Costa Rica since Tuesday, the University said. Deon D. Greene is studying abroad at The National University of Costa Rica in Heredia, Costa Rica. Heredia is just north of the Costa Rican capital San Jose. The University said it was contacted Sept. 7 regarding Greene’s disappearance. Greene went into the ocean and did not resurface.
