- Very surprised that this is going on. Visited C.R. for a month back in the 80's. Stayed in Mexico for 2 years. Now both places are dangerous.

Thank you for joining MAP. The world is a complicated place, and nowhere is that more true than in Latin America and the Caribbean. MAP is here both to provide practical and moral support to families who lose loved ones abroad and to build awareness and understanding of very real dangers -- not to discourage people from traveling but in the hope of helping them travel safely and intelligently.
