What is your interest in the Missing Americans Project?: I don't know of anyone missing abroad. My father was murdered in Costa Rica on 1/1/10. And I know the feeling of helplessness that a family is going through when trying to get answers. That I'm blessed to have some closure having been able to see his body and lay him to rest. But now there's the issue of finding the person or persons that did this horrible act and bring them to justice.

Although we've been at this only for a few months, it's clear that travelers in Costa Rica have to be quite a bit more concerned than the tourism sites indicate.
