Turnover of bureaucrats ensures that there is no continuity. I'm sorry, guys...

The only name we had for the man investigating about John is now gone from that station... conveniently his replacement speaks no English so Debbie has had to rely on the consulate staff..

Bummer.... it does seem like they are using every stalling tactic in the book.... I'm so sorry... not even sure we still have an investigator... we sure don't hear anything from them.. Just the the consulate... and it is always the same... "nothing new"...

i have asked them what will they do ,how they will investigate but havnt heard from them.

im looking for attorney who will be able to represent us so we dont have to ever go in person again,

1. Have you checked the attorney's credentials?

2. What EXACTLY would they do?

They're not requiring you to go physically to Matamoros again, are they?

I HAVE FOUND A ATTORNEY WHO SAYS THEY CAN DO OWN INVESTIGATION BUT WONT FOLLOW UP WITH MEXICAN POLICE DUE TO THEM BEING CORRUPT AND IT CAN GET US AND THEM IN TROUBLE.THE CHARGE IS 5,000.00.IS THIS A GOOD IDEA

I'm so sorry... but that seems to be the way they do business over there.... Our people don't count because we aren't rich enough or famous enough or have the "wrath of our government" behind us... Same thing is being voiced by David Hartley's widow, and Nancy Davis' widower, and the parents of the young college student from Brownsville who was gunned down on a bus, going to visit relatives across the border. So sad... so very sad.....
